QWE/A D/ZSC walk the 8 compass directions (numpad-style; diagonals run along the grid edges); Numpad +/− adjusts movement speed in 5% steps. Gamepad left stick: direction snaps to the same 8-way rose, magnitude scales speed 100%–200% (press a button first to activate). Current speed shown top-left.
